Christina Watson, Psy.D. is a clinical psychologist specializing in ADHD, dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, nonverbal learning disorder, and other learning differences.  She has unique experience with assessing children with medical causes of learning challenges, as well as extensive experience with assessing for intellectual disability and twice-exceptional giftedness.  Dr. Watson has worked in the field of learning assessment since 2000.

Dr. Watson received her doctorate in clinical psychology with an emphasis in children and families from the California School of Professional Psychology, San Diego.  She has also completed extensive continuing education in the field of neuropsychology.

​

Dr. Watson served as a subject matter expert in the development of the California licensing exam for psychologists, and has taught graduate classes on child therapy and undergraduate classes on child development and social psychology.  She is a member of the Learning Disabilities Association (LDA) and the International Dyslexia Association (IDA), and has served several terms on the Board of Directors for the San Diego Branch of the IDA.  She is also a member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and the California Psychological Association (CPA).

Dr. Watson was named the 2023 Rancho Bernardo Local Business Person of the Year, and was also the recipient of the 2018, 2019, and 2020 Best of La Jolla Award in the Psychologist category.

Dr. Watson is now accepting new clients from age 6 to adult in her Rancho Bernardo location.
